Washington Real Estate Partners culture and history are steeped in a tradition of long-term ownership and vision. The Company's founder, F. Davis Camalier, and his family have been in the real estate business for three generations -- more than 100 years. During that time, the Camalier family has focused on long-term ownership of real estate, with some assets having been owned throughout their entire existence since the late 19th century.

Washington Real Estate Partners inherits that long tradition and shares its founding principles. Over the past 30 years, Mr. Camalier has assembled an extensive and unique portfolio of real estate investments that include income producing properties, development opportunities and raw land. The Company has evolved to not only manage the existing portfolio of assets but to expand by applying the Firm's entrenched local presence in the South Florida and Washington. D.C. markets.

Washington Real Estate Partners brings a unique combination of talents and capabilities, adding a new dimension to the business. The Firm actively pursues multiple product types in key markets in the following business core competencies:
  • Residential - Our organization and our investors own sites in Washington, DC, Bethesda, MD and South Florida with the combined ability to offer over 2,000 residential units comprising in excess of 2 million square feet.  We are actively searching for income producing properties to allow for a more balanced investment portfolio.
  • Development - The Company offers a wide array of product types such as office, industrial, residential (single-family and condominium), retail and mixed-use projects.
  • Asset Management - Washington Real Estate Partners acquires, owns, manages and operates existing real estate assets.
  • Finance - The Firm provides financing services to our own assets and makes investments on behalf of the Company and its outside partners and clients.
Washington Real Estate Partners seeks to capitalize on its long-term local presence in two key markets, Washington, D.C. and South Florida. The Firm and its principals have lived and worked in these key markets for the majority of their professional careers and in some cases for their entire lives. The Company is internally capitalized with excellent cash flow and a long-term approach from conception through development, and management of the property for many years to come.
